With the exciting brand new Bob Willis trophy just beginning we take a look at our predictions for each division and who is going to come out on top

This is the format for the new design of the County Championship and Bob Willis Trophy.
Division Three:
Starting with division three we understand that top performers will be, by our estimations, in form and new captain of Sussex Tom Haines, high averging and impressive Wocestershire batter Jake Libby and just reached 500 first class wickets Chris Wright. As we predict it will be Middlesex who come out on top followed closely by Leciestershire with Derbyshire holding up the rear.
"As we predict it will be Middlesex who come out on top followed closely by Leciestershire with Derbyshire holding up the rear."
Division 2;
In division two, with highly rated sides such as Essex and Surrey knocking about we believe that it will be an inthrawling and enticing division. Top performers we believe will be Essex captain Tom Westley, tyrant in the group stage for Surrey Hashim Amla and eager wicket taking bowler Tim van der Gugtan. In our opinion it will be reigning county championship champions Essex, followed by ever impressive Surrey and the bottom spot to be occupied by struggling Glamorgan.
Division One
“Do you have a design in mind for your blog? Whether you prefer a trendy postcard look or you’re going for a more editorial style blog - there’s a stunning layout for everyone.”
In division one we understand that it will be an ever swinging and changing action packed group with its stand out performers being Yorkshire's ever reliant Adam Lyth, Lancashire wicket taking machine Matt Parkinson and Notts defiant paceman Lyndon James. So then, who will win? Well, having been on form and destructive in their group followed by early succes already in the Bob Willis Trophy we predict that the County Championship winners will be Yorkshire. Joining them however in the final will be in my opinion the ruthless Lancashire, guided by their group stage momentum, vicious pace attack, wicket taking spinning options and destructive top order batters.
Bob Willis Trophy Final-War Of The Roses
So, now we get into specifics. On the day of the final we predict the toss will be won by Lancashire, guided by chilly conditions and the promise of their bowling attack we believe they will choose to bowl first, in reply to this champions Yorkshire thanks to the grit and determination of their international players will post a respectable 287 all out in 101 overs. In reply Lancashire will struggle, a five-for will be taken by Jordan Thompson as he guides his side into bowling Lancashire out for 236 in 87 overs ending day two with a comanding 51 run lead. Day three however will be challenging, despite a determined top order knock of 62 by Adam Lyth Yorkshire will stumble to 216 all out in 73 overs gifting Lancashire 113 overs to chase 267. However rain will cut short 10 of those overs before the end of day three, beginning day four early wickets by Bess and Fisher will hault Lancashire's progress however raliant middle order batting by Danny Lamb and Dane Villas will propel them towards the target but a stream of wickets late on will make edging their way to the target nail biting, a Dom Bess five-for delaying their rosses rivals chances however a swift pull of the hip from Dane Villas will take his individual total to 72* and his side to 269-8 allowing them to win the war of the roses and the Bob Willis Trophy by 2 wickets. (#waroftheroses #lancashire #champions)
In conclusion
"allowing them to win the war of the roses and the Bob Willis Trophy by 2 wickets.”
We predict that Yorkshire will be crowned county championship winners however they will go on to lose the Bob Willis Trophy to their fiercest rivals Lancashire. Whatever happens it is a 100% confirmed promise that it will be eye catching no stop thrilling action across all three divisions from start to finish so please be sure to get down and support your local counties however way you can, you will not regret it.
